Enter an update URL in DSM for a Synology NAS.

Configure DDNS in DSM

  1. Open DSM Control Panel › External Access › DDNS.
  2. Choose Customize Provider.
  3. Choose a custom URL and paste the Query URL below.
  4. Save the configuration and run the update test in DSM.

Query URL

Replace <token> with the token from the update URL. Keep __MYIP__ unchanged.

Find <token> under Dashboard › hostname › update URL. The URL is shown only once, so copy and save it before leaving the page.

The router updates its own IPv4 address.

To update a separate IPv6 address for one device, install the client on that device itself.
