Terms of Service
Version 1.0, effective 22 October 2026.
1. Service provider
The Niti dynamic DNS service at niti.vn is provided by NITI RETAIL Company Limited (Công ty TNHH NITI RETAIL); enterprise code 0319361762; address 27/20 Phan Van Khai, Bau Tre 1A Hamlet, Tan An Hoi Commune, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; legal representative: Dang Tuyen Tinh; email ddns.niti@gmail.com; phone +84 902 902 239.
2. Acceptance
By ticking the consent box at sign-up, at first sign-in, or when a new version is published, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Niti records the time, version, and technical details of your consent as evidence. You must be at least 18 years old or have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3. What the service is and is not
Niti provides hostnames of the form <name>.niti.vn and updates DNS records (AAAA for IPv6, A for IPv4) to the IP address sent by your device or software. Niti only answers DNS queries and receives IP updates; traffic to your device does not pass through Niti. Niti does not provide Internet access and does not open ports or configure your modem, router, or firewall for you.
4. Technical limits you should know
Reaching your device from the Internet also depends on factors outside Niti's control: modems or routers that block inbound connections, including IPv6, until you open a port; ISPs that use shared IPv4 addresses (CGNAT), which prevent IPv4 port forwarding; visitors who only have IPv4 cannot reach an IPv6 address; DNS caching on the visitor's side. Niti provides guides and a Port check tool so you can configure your network, but does not guarantee your device will be reachable from every network.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for: keeping account information accurate; keeping your password, 2FA codes, and update keys secret; the devices and services you expose to the Internet, the ports you open on your modem, and keeping their software and passwords up to date; the content and activity reached through your hostname. Open ports can be scanned from the Internet; open only the ports you need and use strong passwords.
6. Prohibited use
Do not use Niti for: fraud; impersonating organizations, brands, or individuals; distributing malware, controlling botnets, or sending spam; attacking or scanning other systems without authorization; violating Vietnamese law or third-party rights; sending excessive updates or overloading the service; registering names to squat on them or cause confusion. Some names are reserved and cannot be registered.
7. Suspension and termination
Niti may immediately suspend a hostname or account on signs of a violation of Section 6, at the request of a competent authority, or to protect the service and other users; Niti will tell you the reason by email unless the law prohibits it. You may appeal through the contacts in Section 12, and you may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
8. Fees, renewal, and refunds
Plan prices are those published on niti.vn at the time of payment. Fees paid are non-refundable, except when: Niti ends the service through no fault of yours, in which case Niti refunds the unused period; you do not accept a change under Section 10 and terminate before it takes effect; or the law requires otherwise.
9. Service level and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. Niti works to keep it available but does not commit to an uptime service level (SLA) and may perform maintenance or have short interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, Niti's total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid Niti in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and Niti is not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits, loss of data on your devices, or business interruption. This limit does not apply to damages caused by Niti's intentional or gross fault and does not remove consumer rights under Vietnam's Law on Protection of Consumer Rights.
10. Changes to these Terms
Niti announces new versions by email and on niti.vn at least 15 days before they take effect, except for changes required by law. You must accept the new version to keep using the service; if you do not, you may terminate and receive a refund under Section 8.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes are first resolved through negotiation; failing that, either party may bring the matter before a competent court in Vietnam. Consumers keep all rights to complain and sue under the law.
12. Contact and abuse reports
Email ddns.niti@gmail.com (use the subject "Abuse" to report a hostname); phone +84 902 902 239; address as in Section 1.
